Dan Walker is to step down from presenting BBC’s Football Focus on the finish of the season after 12 years within the position.
Walker, 44, will host his ultimate episode on Saturday 22 May, on the final weekend of the Premier League season.
He will proceed to work as a presenter on BBC Breakfast and for BBC Sport, and can work on the rescheduled Olympics in Tokyo in July and August.
“It has been a tremendous 12 years and I’ve liked each second,” he stated.
“I’m so happy with the job we have accomplished, the adjustments we have made and points we have checked out whereas the soccer panorama modified immeasurably.”
Philip Bernie, head of TV at BBC Sport, stated he was “extraordinarily grateful” for what Walker had accomplished for Focus.
