HS2: Arrests as ‘Roald Dahl wood’ felling starts


On 30 March, Natural England’s director for wildlife licensing and enforcement instances Dave Slater stated: “After cautious evaluation, we have now decided that the felling of a small variety of timber at Jones’ Hill Wood won’t be detrimental to the general conservation standing of the bat populations on this space.”
