The Karachi metropolis administration has imposed a ‘good lockdown’ in 4 districts and a ‘micro lockdown in two different districts amid an alarming resurgence in the variety of new Covid-19 instances. The resolution was taken in a gathering on Friday presided over by Commissioner Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, who can be the administrator of Karachi, studies Dawn information.
The Commissioner mentioned that Covid-19 was spreading fairly quickly and a ‘good lockdown’ in most affected areas was the necessity of the hour.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday mentioned that 19 extra sufferers died in the province in a single day and 1,276 new instances emerged, whereas 12,975 samples had been examined.
Of the brand new instances, 929 had been detected in Karachi alone.
