NEW DELHI: Former Union minister and senior Congress chief Buta Singh (86) passes away.
He was in a coma since October final 12 months when he was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after he suffered a mind hemorrhage.
The chief’s son, Arvinder Singh Lovely Sidhu took to Facebook to tell about his father’s passing.

Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot expressed grief on the demise of the Congress chief and prolonged condolences to his household.
“Sad to be taught in regards to the demise of a former union minister, senior Congress chief and former MP from Rajasthan, Shri Buta Singh ji. My heartfelt condolences to his relations on this tough time, might God give them energy to bear this loss. May his soul relaxation in peace,” Gehlot wrote on Twitter.
Singh was a distinguished Dalit chief and a Union minister within the Rajiv Gandhi authorities from 1986-1989.
