NEW DELHI: An Airbus A321 of IndiGo with 231 passengers on board acquired caught in snow at Srinagar Airport throughout taxi out on Wednesday. The plane (VT-IUZ), which was to function to Delhi, is being examined for attainable harm because the engine cowling (cowl) was caught in snow.
In an announcement, IndiGo mentioned its flight 6E 2559 “was held again at Srinagar. While taxiing out, the plane got here in shut contact with the snow which was collected adjoining to the taxi-way.”
“The plane is held at Srinagar for additional inspections. An alternate flight was organised from Srinagar to Delhi to accommodate all of the passengers,” IndiGo assertion added.
