Notices and signboards concerning the order have already been positioned at bus stops and railway stations, an official stated. Officers have been requested to behave instantly as and when complaints have been obtained about autorickshaw and taxi drivers, he stated.
As soon as complaints are obtained, motion will likely be taken towards errant drivers underneath the Motor Autos Act, the official stated. Aside from this, a gathering will likely be organised to sensitise drivers to behave nicely with residents and help in a trouble free commute and police officers will likely be sensitised as nicely, he added.
