Punjab: Mohali witnesses decline in new Covid circumstances, fatalities

After witnessing a rise within the variety of Covid-19 circumstances and virus-related deaths within the final month, authorities have had an indication of reduction within the first ten days of the month, with the district witnessing a decline within the variety of circumstances and fatalities.

The district has recorded ten virus-related deaths, together with a complete of 501 constructive circumstances between January 1 to January 10.

As far as deaths are involved, a complete of 9 deaths have been reported between January 1 and January 10. Compared to this, a complete of 1,138 constructive circumstances and 22 fatalities have been reported within the first ten days of December 2020. The district noticed a complete of 2596 constructive circumstances and 58 deaths in December.

In November, a complete of three,029 constructive circumstances and 42 deaths have been reported, out of which 620 circumstances and 13 deaths have been reported within the first ten days of the month.

“The good thing is there was a decline in the number of fatalities. In the first ten days only nine deaths were reported which is the lowest as compared to the last two months in the same time period. We expect the same trend to continue,” mentioned a well being official.
