Delhi: Fire breaks out at factory in Dilshad Garden industrial area; 25 tenders rushed


A fireplace broke out in a manufacturing facility close to the MTNL workplace in Delhi’s Dilshad Garden industrial space on Thursday morning. No casualties have been reported to this point and staff have been evacuated.

The Delhi Fire Services initially despatched 15 hearth tenders to the spot for firefighting operations. Ten extra hearth tenders have been rushed later.

Atul Garg, DFS Chief mentioned a name in regards to the incident was made at 8.35 am. “ There’s a shortage of water at the spot. We have called for more tenders to douse the fire,” mentioned Garg.

The hearth began at a godown which is on the third flooring of a constructing. Fire officers mentioned there are stationery gadgets within the godown and hearth has unfold to different components of the constructing.

The fire-fighting operation is underway, and the reason for the fireplace is but to be ascertained.
