Agrawal stated emphasis was placed on regularisation of site visitors and towing away of autos parked in unauthorised spots.
As per figures from the Delhi Police, on Thursday 221 autos had been towed, 706 folks had been challaned for unauthorised parking, 26 folks had been booked for drink driving and 174 for harmful driving. Agrawal stated that “in comparison to the last few years, New Year’s eve traffic violations were fewer”.
As per information of violations shared by Delhi Police, there have been 203 drink driving circumstances on December 31, 2019 and 274 such circumstances on December 31, 2018.
