Pune: Offence lodged against traders for Laxmi road protest


Pune metropolis police have booked 58 individuals together with Fattechand Ranka, the president of Federation of Trade Association of Pune (FTAP), for allegedly inflicting a violation of legislation by staging demonstration on Thursday, amid the restrictions imposed by the federal government to maintain outlets with non-essential gadgets closed until April 30 as a result of rising variety of COVID 19 circumstances.

Traders had on Thursday protested towards these restrictions by forming a human chain on the Laxmi Road and demanded that the federal government ought to permit all outlets to open and do enterprise.
