Pune records 40 degrees, hot conditions to continue on Thursday: IMD

Hot situations prevailed over Pune on Wednesday, with mercury touching 40 levels for the second time on this season.

Lohegaon recorded 40 levels Celsius which was 2 levels above regular and Shivajinagar recorded 39.5 levels, which was up by 2.5 levels from regular on the day.

Similar climate situations are anticipated on Thursday with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting primarily clear sky situations. This permits applicable land heating because of this, the utmost temperature over Pune on Thursday may rise to 40 levels whereas the minimal temperature may settle round 19 levels.
