TMC’s Anubrata Mondal Remanded in CBI Custody for 10 Days

A particular CBI courtroom in West Bengal’s Asansol city on Thursday remanded TMC chief Anubrata Mondal in 10-day custody of the central company in reference to a cattle smuggling case. The TMC Birbhum district president was arrested by CBI sleuths from his Bolpur residence earlier within the day.

The particular CBI courtroom decide remanded Mondal in CBI custody until August 20 on a prayer by the investigating company. The TMC chief’s lawyer stated no bail prayer was moved by him.

On the allegation that Mondal was not cooperating with the company’s investigation, the lawyer stated that an accused has the appropriate to stay silent and that no matter he has to say will come up throughout the trial.
