Vaishnaw mentioned that the Modi authorities has allotted Rs 5,600 crore for strengthening the telecom connectivity within the state.

The minister mentioned that the Centre plans to put in 5,500 cellular towers for 4G providers throughout all 7,500 villages within the state by August 15, 2024.
