Ronaldo charged with improper conduct after smashing fan’s phone

Manchester United ahead Cristiano Ronaldo has been charged with improper conduct by the Soccer Affiliation (FA) for smashing a teenage fan’s telephone to the bottom following a defeat at Everton final season.

Ronaldo, 37, apologised to the 14-year-old fan through social media after the incident, which occurred after United’s 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park in April.

“Cristiano Ronaldo has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 for an incident that occurred after Manchester United FC’s Premier League match in opposition to Everton FC on Saturday 9 April 2022,” the FA stated in an announcement.

“It’s alleged that the ahead’s conduct after the ultimate whistle was improper and/or violent.”

United stated they’d assist Ronaldo in his response to the cost.

Ronaldo was cautioned by the police in August relating to the incident.

Video footage appeared to point out Ronaldo angrily slapping the telephone out of the boy’s hand as he walked down the tunnel.

The boy’s mom stated he had been left with a bruised hand and that his telephone display had been smashed.
